nslinkd − Device daemon for NS-Link driver

SYNOPSIS

Daemon started by init process.

DESCRIPTION

The nslinkd daemon provides support functionality for the NS-Link device driver kernel module. It is started in order to download binary boot files to the DeviceMasters and to establish initial communications with the DeviceMasters.

There should be one master instance of nslinkd plus one instance for each configured DeviceMaster.

FILES

devmast.bin

Application binary file downloaded to DeviceMaster by the load operation. Search path: current directory, /etc.
