stop−gtk−server − Remove GTK−server processes from the processlist.
stop−gtk−server <[-]stdin> | <[-]tcp> | <[-]udp> | <[-]fifo> | <[-]ipc> | <[-]all> | <[-]show>
If the client program does not exit GTK properly, the GTK−server may remain in the processlist, waiting for new GTK commands. With this script the available GTK−server processes can be removed from the processlist.
The command must
be started with one of the following arguments:
[-]stdin
Remove all GTK−server processes listening to STDIN from the processlist.
[-]fifo
Remove all GTK−server processes listening to FIFO pipes from the processlist. Also created named pipes will be removed from disk.
|
[-]tcp |
Remove all GTK−server processes listening to TCP connections from the processlist.
|
[-]udp |
Remove all GTK−server processes listening to UDP connections from the processlist.
|
[-]ipc |
Remove all GTK−server processes listening to IPC communication channels from the processlist. Also the created message queues will be removed from memory.
|
[-]all |
Remove all GTK−server processes from the processlist. If there are created named pipes or created message queues then these also will be removed. |
[-]show
Show all GTK−server processes currently in the processlist.
To remove all GTK−server processes listening to a TCP connection, run: stop-gtk-server tcp
To remove all GTK−server processes, run: stop-gtk-server all
