NAME

filters — custom filtering

DESCRIPTION

Custom filters may be created by admins and users to control what messages are seen and how they are presented to the user. Filter rules are based on a series of matches and actions. It is accessed via the filters submenu item on the account and admin pages.

Each filter has an optional name and notes for user defined purposes.

Each filter is specified to match either posts or comments. Admin filters are applied once when the target is saved. User filters are applied when displayed.

The following match types are possible. All nonempty criteria must match. Matches are specified as keyword:value.

from

Match an actor or domain name.

group

Match a specific group.

link

Match a post URL.

The following actions may be applied. Multiple actions may be applied, but some are subsumed by others.

hide

Don’t show this post.

relink

Try to find a better link in the post body.

noimg

Remove images.
